The founder of Tron (TRX) Justin Sun has reiterated his belief on the future of cryptocurrency, saying the space will grow to a 10 Trillion USD market cap.
Justin Tweeted: “I do believe the entire world wealth will turn into cryptocurrencies like blackhole and grow much bigger in the future. Cryptocurrency will hit 10 trillion USD market cap before @Apple and @amazon do. We will see. Time will tell.”
Justin made this declaration in reply to Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, who made some clarifications regarding his beliefs on the future of cryptocurrency while attempting to rubbish Justin Sun.
While Justin is not the first person to sense a future cryptocurrency growth, several observers have pointed that crypto will grow beyond human comprehension for the fact that the internet was seen as nothing special when it first came into existence.
The co-founder of Ethereum clarified that the he never said the cryptocurrency space will not grow, however, he confirmed he said there was no room for a 1000x price increase.
His alleged comments brought about disorderliness in the cryptocurrency space days back, resulting in people throwing tantrum on each other and on the personality of Vitalik Buterin.
Vitalik Replies
In reply to the allegation and information twists noticed on various media platform, Vitalik said: “To be clear, I never said that there is “no room for growth” in the crypto ecosystem. I said there is no room for *1000x price increases*. A 1000x price increase from today means $200T in crypto, or ~an entire 70% of today’s global wealth being in crypto.”
Vitalik does not see a possibility where 70% of the global wealth will be in crypto. He does not think that creating attention will bring about further growth.
“What I *actually* said is that, because large portions of the population have already heard of crypto, further growth of crypto in any sense must come from *depth* (i.e. actual usage), and not bringing in more attention.”
Vitalik went ahead: “obviously, let’s be realistic, the entire world wealth is not going to turn into cryptocurrencies,” condemning the media for condemning his stands.
He then added: “Guys, if you spin things this way you’re *incentivizing* people to act more like @justinsuntron.”
Looking at his comment, Vitalik unlike others has a different approach to cryptocurrency acceptance. However, either his approach appears correct or not, there is definitely a massive cryptocurrency growth in the future. Considering the pace at which crypto is growing, no one needs to tell this, it is visible to the blind.
