One of the biggest fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchanges in Taiwan has added Tron to its roster.
MAX Exchange is pairing TRX directly with the official currency of Taiwan, the new Taiwan dollar.
The exchange also announced a TRX airdrop to a select number of users. Current and new accounts registered by June 30th are eligible to receive 500,000 TRX.
This is the latest in a series of new exchange listings for TRX.
The cryptocurrency was also recently added to Indonesia’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Indodax. That followed a new listing on CoinEx, which is headquartered in Hong Kong.
Tron recently released its mainnet software and is now gearing up to end its existence as an ERC20 token. The token swap is set for June 21st. After that, TRX holders will vote for 27 super representatives who will power the network and validate transactions.
The company’s founder Justin Sun also recently made headlines for purchasing the file-sharing platform BitTorrent.
Tron is currently the 9th cryptocurrency by market cap.
