Bitcoin [BTC], Bitcoin Cash [BCH], Litecoin [LTC], Ethereum [ETH], and Dash [DASH] are already in use in the Bitcoin Superstore. Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks, and Nike are the popular brands for gift cards that are available on Bitcoin Superstore.
In order to make the payment, the users must first enter the product name, URL of the site, the price of the product along with the shipping costs. The user is then transferred to the next page where the product is added to the cart where the user can then choose the form of payment such as cryptocurrency or fiat and can then be checked out.
A Twitter user by the name, chinazepplin commented on this saying:
“Great work! So essentially anything at Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks, etc could now be purchased with XRP through the Bitcoin Superstore platform.”
The post by Bitcoin Superstore gained a lot of excitement and criticism, as many users were glad to hear the news. However, they also expressed concerns with the fact that the company mistakenly used Ripple instead of XRP.
A Twitterati named XRP.paris says:
“Although it’s a lovely initiative, though you’re kicking off very bad… @Ripple is a company & $XRP is the digital asset that you’re referring to. This has to be clarified. You’re accepting #XRP and not #Ripple. Thank you #XRPTheBase”
Another Twitter user said:
“I think it’s awesome, however, please change the headline to “acceptance of XRP” because Ripple is a company, XRP is the digital asset/currency. Thanks.”
