On 1st August, the Ontology network released its report for the month of July. With the network launching a vast number of updates, the report touched upon each and every one of them.
Structural updates
The company has stated that they have rebuilt the Ontology import/export feature which was followed by the addition of new lists into the network documentation. The network has stated that a signature service has been boosted by the assign player option. The updated list also showed that a broadcast transaction option has also been added that will allow users to send multiple information blasts to different accounts.
The company has also stated that a virtual machine error list has been added to the network that will enable the system to be error-free and also reduce its compile time. With users complaining about certain bugs in the broadcast option last week, the network has also gone and fixed the bug affecting transactions. The other main structural updates included the removal of a global parameter cache and the addition of a new method for querying network ID in RPC/ Rest.
This was followed by the inclusion of the self-clearing method for transaction pool and the start of the Oracle development program.
Front-end updates
The company has also released a list of functionalities and updates that was added to the front end of the network. The Ontology network has added the shared wallet functionality to the network that is aimed to make transactions between different wallets in the same network more easy and accessible. The network has also reported that it had developed the ‘OWallet’, a desktop wallet that was powered by the integration of IdentityMind.
The Ontology network has also added support for wallets such as Ledger and is set to launch Python SDK. The company has also optimized the explorer infrastructure that has in turn improved the access efficiency of the network.
Latest releases
The reports by the network have also shown that the Ontology 1.0 was launched the previous week which enabled the tie-up with Trust Anchor CFCA. The network has also partnered with CCX in the Enterprise Credit Investigation which was given a boost with the network’s partnership with the Blockchain Application in Business.
A significant update according to the company has also been in its tie-up with Cocos, which aims to garner Ontology a foothold in the gaming industry. The week also shows the release of Ontology’s first candidate node list and the release of the Technical Community Bounty Program.
