The exchange also provides its customer base with real-time market data for Monero [XMR], Bitcoin Gold [BTG], Dash [DASH], Lisk [LSK], NEO [NEO], OmiseGO [OMG], Qtum [QTUM], XRP, Stellar [XLM], Zcash [ZEC]. However, Robinhood has clarified that by providing real-time market details of a cryptocurrency, it does not indicate any plans to add the cryptocurrencies to their trading service.
Recently, Ethereum Classic has also scored the interest of the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, which announced its final stage testing of the coin to add it to its platform. This led to the price of ETC see a solid 14% hike.
At press time, ETC is trading at $17.77 with the market cap of $1.84 billion. It has spiked up to 7.45% in the past 24 hours, with a trading volume of $256.6 million.
Cameron, a Twitter user and Robinhood follower commented on the announcement commented:
“When you offering $BAT”
To this, another user, Hassan A. Sheikh replied saying:
“$BAT would be awesome, but how awesome is it also that @RobinhoodApp is putting @coinbase to shame. They already carry just as many currencies. It certainly looks like they’d carry BATcoin long before Coinbase.”
Lord Ivanoff, a crypto-enthusiast also slipped in and wrote:
“Get ready for the moment when investors want to sue the manager and the creepy criminal platform.”
Currently, Robinhood is operational in 19 states of the U.S., some of which are Massachusetts, Arizona, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Utah, among others.
Apart from its latest listing of Ethereum Classic, the cryptocurrency platform had recently made available Dogecoin [DOGE] for trading on its digital wallet. Moreover, it allows its users to build a portfolio which provides stock market details and suchlike.
