The acquisition of Poloniex
Poloniex is a U.S based a Bitcoin and digital asset exchange platform, founded in 2014 by Tristan D’Agosta and was acquired by Circle about 5 months ago. Circle has stated that their primary focus after acquiring Poloniex was to improve the core product experience and stabilize the performance of the exchange.
The platform has endeavored to improve the reliability of deposits and withdrawals being made on the platform by updating their customer onboarding process. They have also made sure to clear over 175,000 of their legacy support tickets.
New investments have been made in order to grow Poloniex into the go-to destination for cryptocurrency asset trading. The inclusion of EOS is only the first step to all this, they claim.
Dbndude1, a Twitter user commented on the news saying:
“Seriously? And no DGB USDT? One of your highest volume coins, but u choose an end of service coin with all the problems they are facing?”
