Recently, Block.one released a Medium blog answering the question posed by an EOSIO supporter, Edmilson Rodrigues, on dApp development support.
A wide range of applications has been developed by the EOSIO community to promote the sustainability of EOSIO ecosystem. According to the blog, this is the key factor to determine ecosystem’s success. Block.one began the blog by stating:
“Our Developer Relations team and EOS VC are dedicated to providing a range of support and initiatives for third-party developers who want to utilize the EOSIO protocol.”
On asked about how does EOSIO support teams around the world to develop dApps on their platform, they said that EOSIO does this via picking projects that utilize EOSIO’s technology and then providing technical support for the respective projects.
Next was about the launch of ‘EOSIO dApp Spotlight’, which is an initiative taken to shed light on the out-of-the-box projects planned to be built on EOSIO.
Moreover, the ‘EOS VC’ initiative has been discussed which is intended to act as a bridge between the projects and the resources required to carry them. EOS VC is the strategic joint venture arm of Block.one that is based out of Hong-Kong. The purpose of this arm is to take care of EOSIO partnerships and maintain strategic relations to promote a diverse ecosystem. Its main aim is to propel a widespread adoption of blockchain technology.
The investments involved through EOS VC will directly act as a support system for the dApp developers, entrepreneurs and innovators.
Apart from dApps, EOSIO also has its general support and networking platforms for developers, such as EOSIO Stack Exchange site where the community members help each other with their queries.
